Job Summary
The Visitor Experience Lead Associate will act in a support role to the Lead-Museum Operations and be able to provide back-up to this role as needed. This is a tactical position. This position will oversee daily Museum or Group Tour operations and respond accurately and accordingly to issues related to the visitor experience. The position will have to be willing to wear many hats and be willing to tackle tasks outside of their direct responsibility and possibly outside of their comfort zone. This position will have the pleasure of working with several areas of the Museum (special events, tours, retail, security, facilities, exhibits, food and beverage, etc.). This position will also provide back-up coverage for Visitor Experience Associates (VEA) for breaks, lunches, or other absences, which means they will have to know how to perform in each operational post. This position will also need a firm grasp of the ticketing system which includes the promotion of sales of museum offerings and enhancements. This role will also need to deal with disgruntled visitors and crowd control. Leads will report to the Lead-Museum Operations and will be able to help this manager with several supervisor/manager job related responsibilities. This position is a year-round, part-time position working approximately 32-36 hours per week. The schedule will vary to accommodate the needs of the business and includes daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Education Required
High school diploma or GED/HSED is required. General knowledge of computer operations or point of sale (POS) experience is preferred.

Experience Required
This is a part-time customer-facing position. Requirements include: Requires two years of previous experience in a customer service or retail work environment. Demonstrated ability to co-lead a team. Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to understand and resolve visitor questions or issues while keeping the organizational goals in the forefront is required. Flexibility in scheduling required including weekends and holidays in addition to some evening hours as required by the business. Must be willing to learn all aspects of customer-facing job duties within the Museum environment. Proven ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Possesses knowledge of Harley-Davidson history, products, or Experience. Must be 18 years or older.
