Job Summary:
As a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, this position will encompass a wide variety of responsibilities. The primary purpose of this role will be to develop, manage and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness of and drive traffic to the Harley-Davidson Museum. This position will also develop, manage and execute marketing and communication strategies to support Museum products and services. This role will lead the analysis of marketing metrics and lead customer research activities.
This role will coordinate and provide content and support for marketing and communications programs, activities and materials to achieve Museum Marketing and Communications objectives. This requires a high-level of collaborative interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including the Museum Senior Director, Museum Marketing Director, Museum business unit managers, and the Marketing and Communication organizations.
In addition, the role will coordinate and monitor the efforts of various cross-functional teams and external partners, to deliver projects on schedule and within budget while achieving Museum marketing, communication and visitor experience objectives.
Education Required:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Business or a related field or equivalent experience is required. If the candidate does not meet the degree requirement a combination of relevant education and experience should total the equivalent of 12 years.
Experience Required:
4 years experience in marketing or communications or directly relevant experience required. Must demonstrate solid knowledge of marketing principles, develop and execute strategies, and the ability to effectively manage projects. Experience in destination marketing, media/public relations a plus. Some travel required. High tolerance for ambiguity. Strong communication skills, including business writing, verbal, presentation skills, internal communication.
