Job Summary:
Our Kansas City Vehicle and Powertrain Operations Facility is looking for a part-time Tour Guide Associate to start on August 15, 2016! The Tour Guide Associate is responsible for representing Harley-Davidson and ensuring a great experience for visitors!
Job Responsibilities
As a Tour Guide of our Kansas City Facility you will greet guests and provide them with an interactive experience throughout the tour center exhibit and retail areas while ensuring that security and safety guidelines are followed at all times. Throughout the tour you will implement all necessary measures to achieve a world-class, brand appropriate experience for tour guests, including Tour Center operational practices, and tour quality standards of excellence. Daily duties also include maintenance of the tour center and assisting in the Tour Center retail store from time to time.
Education Required:
High school diploma or GED/HSED is required.
Experience Required:
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to understand and resolve visitor questions or issues
- Demonstrated experience in communicating and enforcing policies are required
- Ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment while providing exemplary customer service
- General knowledge of computer operations or point of sale (POS) experience is preferred
- Three to five years of retail, inventory and merchandising experience or knowledge is preferred
- Physical activity/lifting of merchandise and fixtures involved
- Flexibility in scheduling required including weekends; minimum of 20 hours per week
